Kasey Baker is a 25-year-old queer photographer based out of the Hudson Valley and NYC. Having a distinctly feminist practice, she uses her art to open up important discussions surrounding sexuality, agency, empowerment, the fem body, and how it's depicted in and represented by the media. The work focuses heavily on her own experience from using self-portraiture, but invites each viewer to take a piece of her along with them. In recent years, she has begun to explore the misogynistic separation of art and craft, incorporating fiber arts as a main aspect of her practice alongside photography.
